Picture this: I was 25, running a successful plumbing business, yet feeling utterly worn out and disenchanted. It was like treading water, knowing I needed change but unsure where to start. My self-growth journey had just begun, and I was hungry for clarity.

So, I packed my bags for Croatia, seeking solitude and answers, hoping for a sign from above. I rented a car and roamed the countryside, embracing the quiet and space to reflect. One sunny day at Lake Peruča, while capturing the serene beauty with my camera, I was approached by a man, Stipe, with a smile as warm as the Croatian sun. Though my Croatian was rusty, his friendliness was universal. He invited me for coffee, and I thought, "Why not?"

The next day, I found myself at the café, waiting alone. Just as I was about to leave, my phone buzzed. It was Stipe, calling out, "Come on, this is Dalmatia, we don't rush here!" So, I returned to meet him and his friends. Stipe, despite having little in terms of wealth, was rich in spirit. People knew him everywhere we went, offering free drinks and parking. His generosity was contagious.

Later, he invited me to his home in the mountains for dinner. The meal was a revelation: Swiss chard and potatoes from his garden, fish fresh from the market. Simple, yet profoundly satisfying. During dinner, Stipe proposed a road trip around Croatia with his friend, a businessman from the north. This friend was the polar opposite of Stipe—stressed, always on his phone, chasing material success.

One day, as we were about to set off, the businessman was urging us to hurry. But, as if the universe had its own plans, we were stopped by a train crossing, rare as it was. We sat there for 20 minutes, and I couldn't help but reflect. Here was a man, stressed and hurried, yet going nowhere fast. Stipe, on the other hand, moved through life with ease and positivity, and good things seemed to follow him.

In that moment, I saw what I believed to be God's breadcrumbs—a message about the law of attraction and the impact of one's aura. This was my greenlight moment. I realized I was on a similar path to the businessman, and it was time to change direction. I wanted to be in Croatia, to live a life that resonated with my true values. That trip was the clarity I needed, a signpost pointing me towards a life of genuine fulfillment.
